I am Dr. Mudasir Ahmad Shah, a Veterinary Surgeon, research scholar, and scientific author with a deep passion for advancing veterinary science through research, clinical expertise, and academic contributions. With over a decade of experience in scientific writing, reviewing, and publishing research, I have authored approximately 60 publications in esteemed national and international journals, contributing significantly to the field of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H), along with a Master’s (M.V.Sc) and Ph.D. in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology from the prestigious ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, Bareilly, India. My academic journey has been recognized with several prestigious accolades, including the Gold Medal, Silver Medal, Young Scientist Award, Dr. A.K. Bhargava Memorial Award, Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, ICAR-NET, ICAR-JRF, ICAR-IVRI Fellowship, and MOMA Fellowship.
Currently serving as a Veterinary Surgeon in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, India, I specialize in managing a wide spectrum of medico-surgical ailments in animals, ensuring their optimal health and welfare. I am also a permanent life member of several esteemed professional bodies, including:
Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery (IJVS), Indian Society for Advancement of Canine Practice, (ISACP)Jammu and Kashmir Veterinary Tribunal.
